Context
Before the release of Sinto Muito, Eduarda Bittencourt Simões, born in Recife, Pernambuco, had moved to Rio de Janeiro with the aim of studying medicine. However, her passion for music, present since adolescence through informal participation in bands and singing in church, led her down another path. She collaborated with artists from Rio's independent scene, such as Castello Branco and Letrux, before focusing on her own project. A ten-day spiritual retreat, where Duda Beat practised Vipassana meditation, was a crucial turning point for the artist. The experience helped her to understand suffering and impermanence, providing the necessary confidence to compose and release her songs. This journey of self-discovery and the need to express her frustrated romantic experiences culminated in the compositions that would form Sinto Muito.
Recording
The creation process for Sinto Muito took about two years to complete. The album was produced by Duda Beat's childhood friend and then romantic partner, Tomás Tróia. Tomás Tróia was instrumental in the arrangements and programming, creating the synthetic sound that characterises the record. The technical team included important names from Rio's music scene: Lux Ferreira acted as musical co-producer and for additional production on the track "Parece Pouco", while Patrick Laplan was responsible for recording acoustic drums and electric basses. Mixing was carried out by Diogo Strausz and Pedro Garcia, with Pedro Garcia also mastering the album at Estúdio Garcia Mix Room. Recordings took place between January 2016 and May 2017 in Rio de Janeiro.

Sinto Muito is an 11-track confessional diary that explores the nuances of heartache and detachment. The opening track, "Anicca (Intro)", already sets the tone by referencing the Buddhist concept of impermanence, learned by Duda during her spiritual retreat, and incorporates sounds of birds and insects recorded at the location. "Bédi Beat" and "Back To Bad" are examples of the confessional nature, revealing feelings of vulnerability and overcoming adversity. "Bixinho" became one of the album's biggest hits, blending a light melody with the theme of a frustrated relationship, but in a danceable and relaxed way. "Bolo de Rolo" is defined by the artist as an 'empowerment reggae', while "Todo Carinho" expresses the difficulty in dealing with the fluidity of modern relationships, set to a more classic melody. The influence of Northeastern brega music manifests itself in tracks like "Bixinho" and "Derretendo", which invite close-contact dancing.

Released independently in April 2018, Sinto Muito was widely praised by critics and the public, consolidating Duda Beat's position in the Brazilian music scene. The album was recognised as one of the best national albums of 2018 and included in Rolling Stone Brasil's list of the 50 best Brazilian albums of the year. The artist was honoured with the APCA Revelation Artist Trophy in 2018 and the Multishow Brazilian Music Award, also in the Revelation category, in 2019, as well as the WME Awards for Best Show in the same year. The album's unique sound, which blends 'sofrência' with pop, indie, and tecnobrega beats, opened up space for a new musical style and influenced a generation of artists. Sinto Muito not only marked Duda Beat's debut, but also became a cult album, with vinyl versions becoming collector's items. The album is frequently cited as a work that transformed heartache into art and self-love, and its impact is felt in the continuity of her work, such as in the 2021 album Te Amo Lá Fora, considered a direct continuation of Sinto Muito's narrative.
