The recording sessions for Roberto Carlos em Ritmo de Aventura took place in mid-1967, with most tracks recorded between 16th and 18th August. The notable exception was the song "Eu Sou Terrível", recorded in October. The album was officially released in November of that same year. The production process featured the collaboration of a large team of studio musicians, which included a brass section, string quartet, flute, and harmonica, enriching the arrangements. The instrumental base was comprised of members from Renato e seus Blue Caps, along with musicians from RC-5 and Lafayette's band.
